Thank you for taking time in reading my email. My name is Jaco Erasmus and I recently took delivery of a new VW Tiguan AS 2.0TSFI from your branch in Braamfontein.
To make things even better, this sales + trade in was all done by ordering the car with your salesperson Shane. He assisted me from the 1st inquiry till the delivery of my new car in CPT to where we as a family relocated to in December. [ yes this meaning full internet purchase - a first for me for a car ]
What an amazing experience, I believe that we all strive to deliver customers service at the highest possible level. And for now it was my time to get it in return.

I trust my email finds you well.
Since my experience at your branch in Rivonia, I have eagerly been waiting for the customer survey call that usually follows after interacting with your dealership, in hope that I could give some detailed feedback on my experience. That call happened a few minutes ago and unfortunately, the questions posed did not cover the message I would like to send back in as much details as possible. I, therefore, searched for your contact details so that I could share my experience with you directly and to acknowledge your employees to pay compliments where due.
On Tuesday this week, I had to book my car in for its 45 000km service - a task which I usually dread because the inevitable would happen, as it always does, such as delays, queues, the inevitable transport issue of getting to work and back, etc.
Since good service is rare to find lately, I was waiting to be disappointed from the get-go. Sad, but true.. We are so conditioned to be disappointed that it becomes accepted and without consequence.
From the minute I called through, the telephone operator was friendly and well-spoken. She directed me to the service department where I was able to book my car in without any hassle or delay.
What followed is where I would like to place emphasis on. A gentleman named "Turbo" soon contacted me thereafter to introduce himself as the technician that would work on my car. Never in my life has a technician from a dealership contacted me. It felt like I was being upgraded from an economy flight to first class. Turbo was the first big breath of fresh air in this whole experience. He naturally came across as sincere, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
On arrival to book my car in I was greeted and directed to a parking bay in your service area. As I got out I was welcomed by a team of white coats. They briefed me on what to expect in terms of estimated completion time, what the service on my vehicle would entail from start to finish. I then got introduced to Turbo in person and again maintained a level of service that put me at ease and instilled confidence.
The necessary transport arrangements were made with the team of ladies that I was directed to and before I knew it, I was at work with a positive attitude and without worry.
Turbo contacted me soon after that and eluded to my worn out front brake pads that were due for replacement. I sat back, thinking of the invoice that was about to come my way but before I could say anything, Turbo assured me that my VW motor plan would cover the cost. This means he made the effort to check through what I was covered for to protect me from the unforseen expense.
I booked my car in just after 8 am that day and by 14h00 received the last call to make arrangements to pick me up from work as the major service as well as replacement of front brake pads had been completed. The 5-star treatment continued as I arrived to collect. Turbo once again reiterated what all was done to the vehicle and presented the paperwork for me to sign off.
To all of your staff and in no particular order, my thanks go to your technicians, to the ladies I interacted within your service department, to your switchboard operator. I take my hat off to this department and to the management responsible for them.
Will I recommend Hatfield VW Rivonia to colleagues, friends and family? Without a doubt. Would I return? Without hesitation.
Please pass my thanks over to each and everyone and acknowledge them for what they are and the value they bring to your dealership/brand.

I trust this mail finds you well on this winter Monday morning. May I take this opportunity to compliment a few of your staff members who went out of their way to ensure that I had a truly phenomenal experience at Hatfield Audi, Rivonia...
I purchased my vehicle as a demo model from Hatfield Audi in Pretoria in May 2014. As part of the purchase I was offered an extended warranty. Having subsequently moved to Roodepoort I only did a few services at the Rivonia branch where after I made use of the Constantia kloof branch located close to home. As I reside so close to work my vehicle has been serviced on a yearly basis as it never does 15 000km per year. My last service was in November 2018. I recently started to hear a strange noise from my vehicle which according to my husband sounded like a faulty wheel bearing. I took the vehicle in to the Constantia kloof branch whereupon they informed me that my vehicle was out of motor plan. I had not realised that the motor plan had started from the day it had landed at Audi Hatfield in April and not from the date that I had purchased it on 19 May 2014. They suggested that I take the vehicle to a Hatfield Audi who had issued the extended warranty.
I happened to be in the area after an appointment in Sunninghill on 21 May and popped in to your branch. I met up with Elke who very efficiently organised for Anton to drive my car to ascertain the source of the strange noise. He was of the opinion that it was indeed a faulty wheel bearing. Upon returning to the branch, Elke checked my vehicle’s history and promised to find out whether the warranty would cover the replacement of the wheel bearing. She got back to me with the joyous news that there was a month lee way in which the necessary repair could be done and still be covered by the warranty. She immediately organised for the vehicle to be booked in on the 29th May for the repair to be done.
Upon arrival on 29 May I was cheerfully greeted by name at the boom gate... What a pleasant surprise to be greeted so personally and then to be efficiently and quickly booked in by what looked like an army of staff. Never before have I experienced such a welcome at another branch. Your staff made me feel like a queen and I just knew that my vehicle would be in excellent hands. Max went through all the paperwork and promised to keep me updated on my vehicle’s progress. During the entire time I was made to feel special. Audi has world class service and truly go the extra mile for their customers. Each and every person that I dealt with showed true passion for the brand and I was notably impressed by the team.
I arrived slightly early to collect my car and made use of the time to enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee. Whilst I was sitting there I noticed the pamphlet offering affordable services once a vehicle is out of motor plan. Max immediately asked Wilna to explain the offering which she did with so much enthusiasm. After some discussion around the mileage of my vehicle she offered to investigate an extension on my motor plan. I cannot explain how amazing it feels to have strangers go out of their way to maintain me as a client. I will recommend your branch to anyone driving an Audi as your staff are truly quite remarkable!!
I have subsequently received a message from Wilna informing me that she has submitted the motor plan extension request and will be in contact as soon as she has feedback.
Special thanks and huge compliments to Elke, Anton, Max and Wilna for superior service. You can be very proud to have such a competent and outstanding team of people in your fold.

I was so thrilled that I asked to speak to you and thank you for running such a “tight ship” and inspiring your staff to excellence in every way. In fact, I would like you please to escalate my email to your bosses as you and your staff deserve the highest commendation!
Steve Pendray recommended that I buy my Polo from Sieg Assor at your branch at the end of October 2017 and I will be forever grateful to Steve!
Sieg was outstanding in every way and I had a very happy start to my journey with Hatfield VW! I love my car and I got the colour I wanted.
When I came back for my car’s first service, Sieg remembered me and gave me a warm welcome.
Christelle, who works with Sieg, was wonderful and very efficient.
Booking my car in for its first service was a pleasure. Your Reception lady was friendly, efficient and gave me the information I needed.
When I arrived on the day of the service- I was blown away by the friendliness and efficiency of your staff. I was actually elated by the whole experience and I have related this experience to my own staff and various other people!
Mohabat Khan came to my car as I parked, greeted me and told me that he would be working on my car. He enquiried if there was anything that he needed to know and then said that my car would be ready by 3.00pm.
He asked if I needed transport, which I did. He offered me a cappuccino and showed me where to sit once I had the cappuccino.
The ladies at the cappuccino machine were friendly and efficient and the cappuccino was delicious.
In no time, Darius came with a clipboard and asked me to write down my details and said that a driver would announce when people from Bryanston would be shuttled.
Sure enough, in no time, this happened and I had a pleasant, safe trip to my destination and was told by Moffat that he would fetch me at about 3.00 to bring me back.
At 12.15, Mohabat called to say that my car would be ready by 3.00.
At 2.15 Moffat called to say that he would fetch me 3.00, which he did.
He took me to Reception, asked them to call Mohabat, he offered me another cappuccino, Mohabat arrived and told me that all was well with my car.
By this time, I was so thrilled and elated by this incredible service from everyone I had the pleasure to deal with, that I asked to speak to you.
In no time, you were there, kindly listening to my story.

This is the best experience I have ever had in any environment I have ever been in.

Dear Cheryl and Nigel
I would like to compliment you, and specifically one of your staff members, on a really good experience I had when visiting your Bryanston branch in December.
Ruben assisted me, first by phone, and then when I brought my son’s car in to have a problem checked.
I’ve seldom had such good service, in any industry.
In short, my sons fairly old Citigolf kept cutting out.
Ruben kept the car at your premises for 3 days to see if he could find the problem, which he eventually did (to do with the anti hi-jack solenoid).
Here’s what I loved:
1.When I first called your branch, the person (and unfortunately I can’t remember his name) said this problem should be looked at by Ruben – there’s the first lesson: straight to the right person.
2.And from then on, nothing was too much trouble for Ruben.
3.He persisted until he found the problem.
4.He called me daily to give me an update.
5.He eventually removed the solenoid and told me to bring the car back if the problem persisted (so far so good).
6.When I asked how much I owed, he said he did it between his other work and that he couldn’t charge me because he wasn’t 100% sure if the correct problem had been identified – Where does that happen these days?!
7.He was incredibly professional throughout, and friendly – it just made me smile.
It’s worth mentioning that I take my own car to Mercedes Benz in Sandton for service and maintenance, and I’ve always been impressed with their service excellence. You guys outdid them.
I’m sure we’ll do business again.

I took my car keys, went downstairs to the parking lot, opened the doors of the car, went in, then loaded the wheelchair into the passenger seat and took MYSELF to work, I arrived safely and easily, as I write this e-mail the car is parked outside with everyone's. For the first time in my life I am fully independent, I can go wherever and at whatever time I wish without having to check if it's convenient with someone. It seems insignificant and small but for me this is literally the best day of my life.

I just want to say what great service I received from Ben in service department on Wednesday, 22 February 2017. My front passenger window was stuck open and by the time my husband could
get a look to see if he could fix, it was 17h30. There was nothing he could
do so I wanted to call Audi to see if I could bring it in the next day to be
helped as I was driving to Durban at 11h30.
Switchboard was not answering. I kept a business card that Ben gave me once
when I had brought my Q7 in for a service so we decided to give it a try.
By now it was 18h00. He answered, super polite and said to bring it in the
next day. I did and he helped me, within 20 minutes I was driving off again
at no charge.

In saying that though, I am also yet to experience the exceptional service delivery provided by Niel Thiart, and I have dealt with many Service Providers before (coming from a Managed Service Provider industry myself).He went out of his way on a daily basis to make me feel at ease (this purchase was a BIG deal for me). Allow me time to gather my thoughts, acknowledge and assist me with ALL my queries and concerns with a smile on his face (I am incredibly pedantic, so I changed my mind several times on the model, extras, etc.), and in general provide an experience I will never forget, and always recommend.

My name is Sershen Naidoo and I’m a proud owner of a brand new Volkswagen Polo GTI which I had taken delivery from Jarryd Hettema on the 13/14/2016. The reason for this mail is for the outstanding service(11/10) that I received from Jarryd.
My experience with the Volkswagen franchise groups such as Lindsay Saker, McCarthys and your dealership V.W Hatfield Bryanston was somewhat painful in the time when I was in a market for quotes for a GTI. I had spoken to relevant sales people from all franchises mentioned which no quotes for a GTI was given to me and that really disappointed me because its Volkswagen, but this didn’t put me of track from purchasing my brand new Polo GTI because I had set myself a goal to buy this vehicle and upgrade my current car which was a Polo Vivo. I had contacted your dealership again and I was put through to Jarryd and from there I thought I was going to get blown off again but that was not the case. The very moment that I was in communication with Jarryd everything was a breeze, a quote was given to me instantly and even though I had just requested a quote everything was explained which such detail and patience that Jarryd didn’t even know I was going to purchase the vehicle. I had taken about a month or 2 to get back to Jarryd to purchase this vehicle and after thinking whether I should go to other dealers and find a better quote I decided to actually go back to Jarryd and purchase the vehicle from him. Dear Karen, Thank you for your calls yesterday. I see that you have a logo advertising "Rated No 1 in Service" The attention I have received from Percy Shaba has been exceptional. I went to the Rivonia branch yesterday afternoon and met with Percy and Nico and explained the problem I have with the interior of the vehicle heating unacceptably due to intense heat (and glare) entering through the glass roof and through the visor/ceiling fabric. Both gentlemen were most courteous and a 'smash & grab film' roof solution was offered. This has improved the situation, but not solved the problem and I will be returning to the branch next week to discuss the matter further with them. I would like to thank Hatfield VW for their customer service.

Regarding my complaint that I have lodged last week ago about the service and issues I was experiencing with Audi for the first time in my life was in query to the Audi ### & Audi ### branch, now the problem I have experienced at Audi ### was after telling the sales person I have a X amount of deposit they could almost do nothing to help me only sell the precise same vehicle with lower mileage to me, even after informing them I have a bigger deposit the sales person just did not care anymore about my needs as I wanted to get a new/demo A4 2016 (Automatic) vehicle, they have not phoned me to discuss the deal or tried to get me into a better car and also they lost interest in me as a client after I said I am firstly going to think and revise this before signing and going on which told me instantly they had no interest in me as a client or my needs and to help me get into a car with lower mileage and a exclusive option.
The first TIER sales was good from Audi ### no doubt but it felt like a 'quick buck' to me and my needs was not brought first as a client another thing was the attitude I noticed when I said I wanted a automatic vehicle even if it was a Audi A3 at that stage I did not care anymore since a lot of people tried to make a quick buck on me, I have ignored and asked the sales person to maybe take a look on the Audi A6 which was R429 000 more or less the same price as the vehicle I am busy buying at Audi Hatfield (Niel Thiart) without even trying it was declined according to them so I moved on to Audi ####.
The first TIER sales was also good from the sales person at Audi #### like I have mentioned but yet again giving false promises saying I don't need to worry I will get my new car which implies a directly approved deal etc. Basically giving some false hope to somebody which was seeking professional help and a good sales person that I will go back to every day and refer everyone to him/her unfortunately according to his miscalculation that convinced me that he was not clearly clued up in selling cars, I was apparently approved and the finance lady called me without any joy (She sounded like it was a big hassle to congrats someone, and did not show any sign of joyfulness almost like a recording could not even sell me decent products like the tracker process and Smash&Grab process) as she was waiting for the invoice from the sales person there was a problem in their calculations indicating that I will need R210 000 for the deal to approve and go forward on the last minute which meant the deal went down.
BMW approved me on a deal the same as all of the dealers and I have received excellent service from them I was on the edge to go over to the 'OTHER SIDE' until I came across AUDI CENTRE HATFIELD one of the best dealerships of this year and the coming years in my eyes, what Niel and Carla done for me on this deal and treated me with the facts and figures and respect even if I messaged Niel twenty to thirty times a day he stayed calm, positive and still helped me to get the perfect deal and to get it approved going through a bunch of quotes until he could sourced out the perfect one for me but in the same time giving me hope and the best but the most EXTRAORDINARY service I have ever experienced going out of their path to help me get into my dream car the new Audi A4 2016 model automatic.
There is no doubt that Audi Centre Hatfield is the best in South Africa they deserve the best trophy and medal whatever Audi South Africa has for the best dealership in their trophies showroom, then a special thanks to Niel and Carla for all their help and support putting the client number one in their work and changing my mind to decline the BMW deal and go with Audi Centre Hatfield, I can tell you this for sure and Audie Centre Hatfield knows their business and also where their loyalty lies in the clients Niel & Carla showed and proved this over and over to me in the couple of weeks, basically they picked me up as a client in doubt of the best brand in South Africa and turned my doubt around into trust again which I will keep Niel & Carla as my personal sales executives that only deals with me.
And I will be happy to take my car for a service each time as the technician assigned to me Peet Janse Van Rensburg is one of the most exceptional and best technician I have dealt with in my life, he is the only one that has the permission to work on my car as I have trust him a lot in his work and loyalty to his clients giving that feeling my car is 101% perfect in a working condition.
These three people that I have mentioned deserves a huge bonus or day off maybe a medal elusively from Audi South Africa whatever but they have my highest respect and I will do business with them anytime!

I purchased a golf 7 recently and chose to have it serviced at your dealership at the recommendation of a friend. The service was very quick and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the service.
I would like to especially mention Kulani and Eugene who assisted me. They were both friendly and courteous and made the service hassle free. Any questions I had about the car they were able to assist me with. They called me and kept me updated with the progress of the service as I requested.

I am typing this e-mail with such satisfaction received from Kulan Ngoveni.
I had a particular problem with my Cross Polo TDI.
There was a noise originating from the front and which I had previously taken it to another dealer to have a look. Their response was that everything is fine and there is nothing wrong.
I was not satisfied with the response so I then proceeded and book the car in with your dealership “Hatfield Rivonia”
Kulani Ngoveni was the service advisor, I explained the problem and did a short dive.
When I returned to collect it Kulani advised it was just a bolt that was loose which I could not believe so he mentioned any problems to bring it back.
Well, it is now almost weeks and the noise has completely been eliminated.
I just want to thank Kulani for his great work he has done on my car.

Dear Sir or Madam.
I needed to replace my tyres on my 2006 Polo but I had somehow lost the ‘lock nut’ (not sure if that’s the right word) and therefore I could not change my tyres. I went to a VW dealership on Malibongwe Drive (Strijdom Park Randburg) to try and buy a new ‘lock nut’ but then I was informed that VW had stopped doing the ‘lock nut’ thing years ago. The best bet for me was to change the wheel bolts that required a ‘lock nut’ with normal bolts. The challenge was to find the right ‘lock nut’ to fit the bolts that required the ‘lock nut’ - I hope this is making sense :-) or buy a certain kit that cost more than a thousand rand.
The service people at the other VW could not find a ‘lock nut’ to fit my car - they had tried over thirty different lock nuts. Then they suggested I go to Northgate tyres who had apparently found a way to resolve this ‘lock-nut’ issue - apparently, I’ve not been the only one with this issue.
I decided (instead) to go to Hatfield VW - where I service my car and from where I had bought my Polo from in the first place. It was around 15:00 when I arrived there and the service section was abuzz with customers collecting their serviced vehicles. A service receptionist called a service consultant named Albert Du Toit to help me. He was clearly very busy with customers and in-between he quickly came to hear my problem. He was extremely friendly and polite and promised to attend to me once he had finished helping a certain customer. Within a very short space of time, he was walking out to my car with me and engaging in friendly conversation the whole time.
At my car, he discovered that his selection of ‘lock nuts’ didn’t fit my car neither. He asked if he could take the car into the workshop to see if he had more lock-nuts to test. He took me into the service reception and organised me a complimentary coffee while I waited. Within a short space of time, he returned to my car and he had replaced the removed bolts with the normal bolts I had bought at the other VW dealership. Everything I needed was sorted.
Albert Du Toit’s professionalism and friendliness were SUPERB throughout this whole experience. Not once did I detect an ounce of irritation - even though he was busy with other work and customers and it was the end of the working day. I will definitely recommend Hatfield VW Bryanston to anybody I know thanks to my very positive experience. Please pass my sincere thanks on to this (very valuable) employee of yours.

Nowadays it is difficult to find great service but when you do, one really takes notice.
I bought a Polo Sedan (mastercar) at the end of May from Hatfield VW Bryanston. From the first time I made contact with the branch until I took collection of the vehicle, I only received great service. Jandre van der Westhuizen, the Sales Exec, really put in the extra effort and went the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied with the vehicle. I really just want to commend him for this. I would just like to commend you on the excellent service that I have received from Hatfield VW Braamfontein when my car was booked in last week due to an electrical issue.
I have to mention in particular Carl Schaper that not only solved the electrical issue (turned out to be a blown fuse) but also pin pointed and solved the harsh/hard ride of my Golf 7 GTI.
I’ve purchased my Golf 7 GTI from a different VW dealership in March 2014 and was very disappointed with the hard ride of my car especially over minor road imperfections. I mentioned that to Carl and he immediately looked at the front suspension and found that the Transportation Blocks were not removed during the original PDI.
Carl removed the Transportation Blocks and it transformed the way my car drives , it is now an absolute pleasure driving my car , and I am at long last a very happy Golf 7 GTI owner after 2 years.

I am happy to share a very pleasant experience with you that I had at your latest dealership in Rivonia.
I've been toying with the idea of replacing one of my vehicles with a new economical run around to ease my daily journey from Pretoria to Johannesburg. I started my research and decided that Volkswagen was the brand of choice.
My first few experiences with Volkswagen dealers was not great. I arrived with a BMW or a Mercedes and wanted to buy something smaller. Reactions were more towards bigger vehicles or questioning my thinking. I never considered Volkswagen as a lesser brand, this isn't the 1980s. I was a bit deflated.
This carried on from February until I saw a Facebook post about this new dealership that's en-route to my office in Rivonia. I decided to make contact.
Much to my surprise Brent Kier stepped up.
Brent took the time to listen to my needs and helped me to get the best price for my car. He ordered exactly what I wanted in my new little work car and kept me informed all the way.
He invested so much time and energy in this experience that when I took delivery of my vehicle it felt better than any other in my life so far.
Funny that this is the smallest car that made the biggest impression!
My compliments to Brent! His attention to detail and professional attitude is something that I will promote where ever this little car sparks up a conversation.
I was also introduced to Mike Kaftel who welcomed me to the family and assured me of his personal best attention. Michael Marx handled my sign up with great care.

Working in the retail industry myself we all know customer service is the ultimate silent salesman... I would like to thank and congratulate you for the great service!!!! I phoned with a flashing light to book a service, the earliest you could help was in 7 days time... I got transferred to the workshop manager Jonathan. He asked me to come in the next day, so he can have a look at the car , (As I am planning to go away the weekend). He looked at the problem ( flashing brake fluid light ) and said , they would move my (next week Tuesday booking) right then and there to the same day. Gave me through to the technician Le Clus Mostert. The level of service and professionalism still went through the roof! Thank you for your help and service! I purchased a new Golf 7 in February with the help of Perci. In the last week, I noticed something funny on the car as I was hearing a noise when I drove over uneven road.
The noise was still concerning me and seemed to be getting worse. Therefore on Monday I called the VW in Braamfontein (this is the closest to my office)
and asked if they could help. I didn’t have a booking but the manager still agreed that I could bring the car in and he would get someone to test drive it.
Firstly that is what you expect from a service provider as they were willing to help on short notice even though they were fully booked. Mohammed helped me and found that the travel blocks had not been removed from the shocks.
To Mohammed and Hatfield Braamfontein, I would like to convey my gratitude for helping me and the good service received. Its good to see that there are
still some dealerships where the customer is still a priority.

I was ready to leave the VW brand 6 months after I had purchased my vehicle in 2014. That was before I had booked in for a service at Hatfield Bryanston and looking back, was lucky enough to have Robin assigned as my service consultant.
I am so glad that he has been my service consultant since then. VW should be too because if it wasn't for Robin, I'm not sure I would still be driving a VW. His dedication, knowledge, willingness to share his knowledge and enthusiasm about his work and VW made me reconsider my decision totally. I thought that if someone like Robin put so much into this brand, surely there must be something worth sticking around for!
To name but one of the experiences I have had with Robin was recently when my car was towed in on Wednesday, 10 February for a water leakage problem. My fiance met Robin at the dealership during the day and by lunchtime, Robin had diagnosed the problem - it was the radiator. By Thursday, 11 February he had submitted a host of documents to the maintenance plan and by 12 February, all that was outstanding was the authorisation from the maintenance plan. He called me late on Thursday to let me know that he wouldn't be in the next day but that his colleague, Mark would call me if there was any news on the authorisation. Mark was really helpful too as he did call me on Friday as soon as he received an update from the maintenance plan. The process with the insurer then became long and grueling but Robin helped through every step of the way, to such an extent that when authorisation eventually came through, Robin stayed at work until 7pm on Wednesday, 17 February to remove the radiator. Bright and early at 7:15am on Thursday, 18 February Robin was at the dealership and ready to meet with my fiance and the assessor from the insurer.
We eventually got the full claim authorisation on the morning of Friday, 19 February. Not expecting Robin to finish with my car in a day, simply because the maintenance plan decided to give authorisation 10 days later, I had expected to receive my car back the following Monday. That clearly wasn't the way Robin worked and he ensured that I had my car back at 11am on SATURDAY, 20 February!!!
It has been a long time since I have dealt with someone like Robin, in any service industry. He is always available to take my calls and when he can't he returns them promptly and timeously, he is clear in explaining things related to my car to me and is just an all-round wonderful person.
He is an asset to VW and I truly hope that this is recognised and appreciated to the fullest extent.

I picked up my new car on Thursday afternoon. It was such a proud moment for me – I have wanted the Golf for a few years now and Michael and Jarryd have helped make this dream a reality for me.
Michael sold me my previous car ( the Polo when it launched in July 2014) – his service then was amazing and his level of service each year seems to get better and better. He understood my requests, he knew my budget and he made sure he never stopped searching for a car until I was completely satisfied with it – when he did send me the option/quote for this car - he said “I think this is the one for you” and I agreed to it – because he has established a place of trust to us. He arranged the trade in for my Polo as well – making sure I got an excellent trade in value. When I agreed to the sale, he made sure he kept me updated. He answered any email I sent so promptly, he explained things so clearly thus making the sale so easy for me to grasp. I have never come across a person who is so willing to go all out to meet the needs and budget of a person while ensuring the quality of a product . Michael, thank you from the bottom of my heart – and I so look forward to buying another car from you in another few years.
Now, to Jarryd who assisted Michael so well. You guys are such a great team, you kept each other informed on the process, you work so well together, that is what a healthy work environment looks like – this is what sets Hatfield Bryanston apart from every other dealer – team work, passion and service excellence. Jarryd arranged the test drive for us when we initially expressed interest in the car. He was so pleasant and good to talk too- he has a wealth of knowledge on car and the VW brand. He never rushed us during the test drive and discussion. He said that he will contact us on that Monday and he sure did. We never felt pressured into any deal – he just allowed us to decide but was so ready to help when we needed. During the process, he answered all my emails and queries within minutes, he even sent me pictures of my car when it arrived. He kept me posted on delivery and the processed to follow. When I arrived at the dealer to sign for my car, he was so excited for me – he took so much time to hand over the car, to explain so clearly the different aspects of the car even though it was late in the afternoon, he was incredible to deal with. Even with the trade in paperwork, he was so organised and efficient. I cannot express enough how impressed we are with you Jarryd – thank you again.
Thank you, Hatfield, for making the delivery of my car so precious – from the bow on the car to the notice board with my name on it to the ringing of the bell and clapping of hands – I was overwhelmed with joy when we drove our car out. Also, a big shout out to my resident service advisor – Mohabed(hope that the spelling is correct). He has been so good to work with, he also is so pleasant and humble. I had some mechanical issues on my previous car – he was so efficient at contact VW head office and arranging for the car to get sorted. He always kept me informed on the status of my vehicle, he always assured me that he will do his best and he did his very best and helped me feel better when things did not always go well. Mohabed, I want you to know that I really appreciate all the help, all your efforts and your kind and caring demeanour always.
Lastly, I was supposed to send this email a long time ago – for Neo the guy who drops of off at work when we bring our cars in – Neo is the most pleasant person to chauffer us around. He spoke so gently to everyone in the car when he dropped us off. he made sure he asked people if they had enough space in the back if they were comfortable etc. He even offered to take our used coffee cups to throw away for us – he really has been a star and a good conversation person to drive with

After a 6-month long and exhaustive search for a car, I ended up in front of Jacki Hodges' desk... she soon found a vehicle that met my criteria. What impressed me was that she told me everything and anything I needed to know about the vehicle - stuff that were on the down low at some other dealerships. This type of transparency immediately instilled confidence and made me feel at ease. I put down a holding deposit on the vehicle, but after some soul searching, I decided against it based on the colour. Jacki had a plan! Between her and Damon, they quickly found me something else, a trade-in from Audi Centre Hatfield. Everything happened so fast that I didn't have a chance to even look at the vehicle properly, but between all the run around to get the vehicle, Jacki gave me her word on the condition of the vehicle. Still a little sceptical, I requested to view the vehicle before buying, and in the end I viewed and bought the vehicle on the same day! Even when I took delivery she was quick to order the respective parts when we discovered a problem at the last minute. I felt valued. I really appreciated the fact that Jacki followed up when she was supposed to and communicated regularly... another trait that is gold to customers!
In the week that all this was happening on the Jacki front, I also had the pleasure of dealing with a second one of your staff members, Christelle Prinsloo, in F&I. I will take a rough estimate and guess that I didn't speak to her any less than 10 times. She really bent over backwards and put in a huge effort with the banks to get me the best rate, and she succeeded! She maintained her bubbly personality even after having to go back to the banks, go back again and then back again!
When you spend a big chunk of change somewhere, you certainly expect to receive good service, I didn't. No, I received OUTSTANDING service! I have to congratulate you on both Jacki and Christelle, they have certainly secured a customer for life at Hatfield VW.
Please convey my appreciation to them once again, you will see more of me in the future, that's for sure!

I have been servicing my various Golfs at Hatfield for many years – it started in Rosebank more than a decade ago and I have always been impressed with the general levels of service received.
I would like to highlight an individual who has really impressed me recently – Kreason. I had an issue with my car’s battery. I phoned and he assisted immediately with a diagnostic test confirming that neither the battery nor the alternator was at fault but perhaps the tracking device was giving a problem – the latter was the culprit and was replaced. A week later my tyre pressure light was coming on and he assisted me telephonically in resetting it.
His communication is great during services and he keeps me abreast at all times of what any issues might be.
I would like to commend Kreason on his professional and efficient service rendered – he is definitely an asset to your company.

I'm sending this email just to compliment the great service that I received from both Dale and Laura at VW Hatfield.
Dale was friendly from day one; having of been in many car dealerships I've found that salesmen tend to profile a person e.g: if young and black doesn't scream able to pay installments to them they don't take you seriously. This was not the case with Dale, he seemed to genuinely take me seriously from day one, he kept his promises about calling or emailing me at all times. On the day of collection he made sure that I understood everything about the car taking his time to explain all the functions of the car to me, a first time buyer. He even went as far as to guide me out of the dealership by standing in the road to alert me of oncoming traffic.
Laura was warm from the day that I received her first call. On the day of collection I had expected a five minute meet with her just for signing but instead, she took her time to explain to me the terms of my contract so I was fully aware of what I would and would not be paying for. Laura also went as far as to say that should I have any problems or need any advice I shouldn't shy from giving her a call. This invitation to call should I need anything or be experiencing any problems was also extended by Dale.
The buying of my first car was by far one of the most frightening experiences of my life but thankfully both Dale and Laura made the experience a positive one and the process smooth. Thank you! I would definitely recommend VW Hatfield to others.
My only complaint would be the manual and advise you guys get a new graphic designer for that thing, it is not reader friendly and IT'S BORING!

I just received a call from Mr Viviers. He advised that he is 84 years old. On Friday afternoon at about 15h00, he and his wife were at the Checkers at Silver Lakes. As they came out they noticed 2 Technicians wearing Hatfield branded work uniforms.
They advised him that one of the tyres on his car was. They then promptly changed the tyre for him. When Mr Viviers tried to pay them for the service one of the technicians replied: “Neemeneer! I would just like to write a letter to thank Frans for the wonderful service I received from him yesterday and today.I know people always complain when service is bad and I like to give honour where I feel honour is due.
I bought my VW Tiguan in for the service and as a previous bmw driver that had exceptional service at the bmw service department I would just like to say that thanks to Frans Ganswyk i am very impressed with the wonderful, professional, efficient service that i got from VW Hatfield thanksto Frans.
Frans was very friendly and very clued up and professional.I wanted to avoid the traffic I brought my car in to VW yesterday, Frans called me this morning and kept me up to date and my car was ready for me when I arrived at VW at 2pm.(which i was very impressed by as I got to avoid the traffic)
I appreciate this and I would like to make you all aware that I am very impressed with my wonderful experience at VW and I would like to personally thank Frans for making my car service a smooth and easy process.

It is with great pleasure to inform you that we are so impressed with the high standard and quality of workmanship and professionalism presented by Paul Vermaak.
We decided to take our Cross Poloto Hatfield Volkswagen where we were introduced to Paul, from day one he went out of his way to identify and assess the problems on the car and without any delayor waste of time he found the problem (which 2 other McCarthy Volkswagen dealers) failed to do. He arrange with the insurance company to repair/replace damage parts and we as the clients was continuously updated and informed of what the next step will be. We have the car now for +- 3 months (4000km) after it was at Hatfield Volkswagen without any problems and the car’s fuel consumption is at its lowest ever and my wife is finally happy.
NB!! It must be noted why it is so important to write this mail; in the current economic times that we are living it is hard to find good service and service advice therefore in my view Paul is a special employee and person that is a hard worker, passionate, dedicated in what he’s doing and a good ambassador for the Volkswagen Brand Name,therefore I feel he should be nominated for employee of the month.
